Is there a way to get aim to use a diffrent port than default?

Setup > Preferences > Sign On/Off > Connection.

You can do auto configure so that it finds an open port or manually configure one yourself.

why...is your school / work blocking it?

Yes actually, is there a way around it?

No. The perimiter security can detect what the application is no matter what port you are using.

Somebody got it to work today, I wonder how they did that, I doubt the program was totally blocked. It was the old aim too.
