is there a way to encode vbr in total recorder

i am using this program called total recorder and it allows me to use lame dll encoder. i wonder if there is a way for me to encode using vbr instead of cbr coz i know that lame can encode in vbr using the -v and -h switches

AFAIK the LAME DLLs floating around are hacks of the backend EXEs themselves, and options are only available via DLLs if they are in the program. It's best to just use Total Recorder to save as a WAV, and then encode using RazorLAME
