Is there a way to Empty mail folders in outlook?

I was wondering if there is a way to completely empty folders in Outlook. Now i can only empty the trash folder but i have a spam folder that i would like the ability to empty with the click of a button rather than having a rule to empty it every so often automatically.

How about the click of a two buttons:

<CNTRL>A
Delete key
Then it gets deleted when you empty your trash.

Use the shift key and then just select all the messages you want removed.

You can delete the folder and recreate it or you can select the top-most email and select all the remaining emails by selecting the bottom most email while holding down the shift key, then right click and select delete. If you feel up to the challenge you could also try creating a macro. Here is one example that is supposed to work with Outlook 2002
