Is there a way to disable volume control in windows 7?

Hello,

I would like my computer to stay at max volume and control my volume on my speakers. Is there a registry edit or app that can disable volume control?

It is not a good idea. max Vol. at any stage means amplification of noise and harmonics as well.

When you put on max the stage before the output Amp (the one that come with the speaker), you feed into the output Amp. a lot of noise too, thus you reduce the quality of the audio output.

I know what you are talking about but leaving my volume at max from my sound card has never created enough noise to have any discernible problems. To give a little more info, this is a HTPC and most of the sound coming out is digitally encoded and so adjusting the volume on the PC makes no difference.
