Is there a way to disable pop-up windows with IE?

I'm usin IE 6.00 and I'm sick of these BS pop-up windows that appear when I go to certain sites. Is there a way of preventing that?

Go to www.download.com Search for Panicware. There is a program called Pop Up Stopper 2.2 Download it and install it. It will take care of all those annoying pop up windows.
