Is there a way to convert my aac content to mp3?

I paid for it so I'm not asking how to pirate anything. I'm ready to ditch my iPhone (AT&T really) for a cheaper phone plan. T-Mobile is looking like the winner right now and the new phone is looking like the Sam Herc.

Regardless... I have a lot of content that I've purchased through the iTunes store and I'd like to be able to use it on my new phone.

Is there anything out there that makes the conversion?

TIA

Songs purchased from Apple are no longer DRM protected. If you still have some of those, you can (I think, still) pay to upgrade them to non-DRM versions. An AAC file is not protected and can be converted right in iTunes with the correct settings (.m4a = not protected, .m4p = protected, .m4r = ringtone).

if you have a lot of protected music, it might be worth it to get tuneclone, thats what i did, i had like 300 tracks that were DRM protected and tuneclone was worth the $15 or whatever it cost.

if you only have a few DRM protected songs, just burn them to CD and then reimport them.

If they're unprotected all you have to do is change the iTunes default conversion settings of ACC to MP3, and convert all your tracks.
