Is there a way to close the CD/DVD tray remotely w/ Remote Desktop?

I started a rip/burn w/ DVDShrink and set my alarm so I can pause it while it nears the Encoding/Encryping stage before it actually starts writing, but I guess the remain time was not accurate!

Now it's writing to the disc, and the tray will open and stay open until I get home. FYI I've tried disabling auto-eject through Nero & WinXP.

in my computer, right click the dvd drive and hit eject. the cd may go back in.

or open a dvd player software and hit the eject button, the tray may go in.

other than that, no clue.

rebooting often closes the tray, depending on your drive/motherboard/bios

Found a small little program that opens/closes trays. Sweet, installing now = )

AFAIK you can't turn on a vacuum cleaner w/ Remote Desktop :Q
