Is there a way to change drive letters in 98/ME?

I've done a search to find something about this and found that ones mentioned were only for 2000. I'm wondering if theres a way to do it for ME? I know about PartitionMagic's Drive Mapper. But that doesn't do what I want, which is to assign certain letters to it. If you know anything, PLMK. Thanks guys.
 
Are you looking for external applications because you can't change it in device manager or haven't you tried that?
 
Well, I guess it seems you can't change it in 98/ME. Did a search and it seems 2000 is able to do it.
