Is there a way to change a japanese language anime to english?

I have a few animes that I want to watch but they are in japanese with english subtitles, are there any patches or something like that to change the anime from japanese to english?
 
get a mic and fandub it. roflolzors.

you've got to be kidding me right? Do you have any idea how terrible dubs sound ? Oh wait, you must watch Cartoon Network's dubs! 😛
 
dubs come in two flavors, total suckage and a bit less annoying suckage. 🙂

GITS:SAC and Fullmetal Alchemist both seem to be pretty decent
 
One reason I dislike dubs (for any kind of program, not just anime) is that instead of just translating for subtitles, they often re-write and change to make the English synch up better.

From Amelie to Zatoichi I'd rather hear the original voices and read the original words.

English dialogue dubbed in place of the original Japanese, usually by the worst voice actors you've ever heard in your life.

I'm working on just such a plugin BTW, to get rid of that pesky Japanese in the event that some hack company hasn't done it for you already, I'll have that done right after I finish my "pull gold coins and semi-precious stones out of your ass" machine.
