Windows Media Encoder also works great when you use WM Screen codec.

Eh.... that doesnt help me much. I dont know what I am doing. I just want to be able to capture what i am doing on the screen into a mpg or avi type video. Is that even possible??

I've used Camtasia and it's pretty good, Hypercam is also decent.
