Is there a way to block the rudder ability on a joystick?

Here's the dealy:

I'm running XP with a Logitech Wingman Extreme joystick. The rudder on the stick is crap. It just sends out random signals, which is of course bad when playing Falcon 4 (hard as heck to land). I have a Saitek X45 on the way, but it won't get here until Monday, and I was looking forward to some Falconeering this weekend.

Is there a way to cancel it's rudder?

Thanks.

Is there a setting in the Game (Combat Flight Sim has a setting)?... Also check Your Logetech settings in Start > Programs > Logitech.

Nah, I checked. I found a hidden screw to lock it down, but it still shakes a bit (I can land though).

A tube of SuperGlue. ;)

Seriously, the X45 is the way to go for real flight sims. Enjoy.
