Is there a way to block Internet Explorer windows from popping up? I'm currently running winXP and i was wondering if there is a setting or something that would prevent new windows from popping up. Usually I don't mind so much until last night when i was looking for a new winamp skin and There were 14 windows open. I was only using one. Thanks for the help.

well, you can use either a pop up killer app, it prevents all popups, or you can use opera for browsing the web, Opera has a feature where it will block all pop ups.

<<Opera has a feature where it will block all pop ups.>>

So does IE6.

Better off getting Pop Up Stopper. Works great.

Can someone point me to where is the setting to stop pop-up ads in IE6? Thanks for your time.
