Alcohol 120% is generally regarded as the most complete package for burning game backups. There are 5-6 main anti-copy technologies out there now, and each one uses slightly different ways of protecting the CD. This site is the best I've found for looking up which technology is used for each game. The site also contains guides on how to circumvent each one, and then how to burn it down onto your own disc. btw...i bought gamesxcopy a couple of weeks ago (download version) and so far it dosn't seem that great. have not been able to copy one ms game
 
i got it last night and even took a quick look around their forums...not simple at first glance

first attempt did not work with HALO but i'm going to try again.

btw...gamesxcopy is lame, i'm going for a refund on it.
