I would like to ask is there a way or any application that lets you adjust your windows display resolution to lower than 800x600, the minimum lowest resolution I can set is only up to 800x600, is there a way to set it to 640x480 or up to 320x240? BTW I am not going to use those low resolutions setting, Im just checking out something.

Try advanced settings in the desktop properties panel, then find either the "Show resolutions this monitor supports" or similar and uncheck it, or add a custom resolution.

If you have an nVidia card it should be on the "Screen resolutions and refresh rates" tab, then uncheck the box saying "Hide modes this monitor cannot support" and you should have more options.
Not sure about ATI offhand.

Should be no problem with a CRT. You may have to lower your color depth first - like 256 colors. 640x480 is really low res.

thats strange, if its broken it shouldnt work......

Normally I'd agree, but it still sorta works. Can't play any DirectX or Opengl games, can't change resolution, can't change colour depth, can't use Hardware DVD playback, and the Drivers won't install because it doesn't see the card(though Windows does), but like stated in previous post it does display something.

Actually thats a good point.
Your primary display might only go down to 800x600, but on a secondary display you can go lower.

Windows XP does not allow anything lower than 800 X 600 in the main slider. However, you can access virtually every possible mode that your monitor can display by going to Display Adapter > Settings > Advanced > Adapter > List All Mode. You should then be able to select 640 X 480 which many variations on color and refresh rate... However, leaving the resolution at 640 X 480 will cause the annoying Windows XP bubble to warn you that your desktop display is not optimal. Hope this helps.
