Is there a way I can write a command to eject usb media?

Situation is I have an older fella running a computer and has only used a computer for the past 6 months. I need to transfer billing data to a pen drive and take it to the main office. I created a .bat file that erases the old file and copies the current to the usb drive. I thought it would be nice to issue another command to eject the drive and have the whole thing finished in one step.

I found the "rsm eject:" command in the help file. I thought it was going to work using the /pf switch. I found the friendly name in computer management under storage. Problem is it started with 1 and counts up everytime I eject and plug it back in. It is kind of weird as I have plugged the drives in days before and the other day when I was trying to figure this out the drive started at 1. Now it just keeps adding 1 to the number. I just figured it reset on boot up, after a couple of reboots I figured that was wrong. It had been starting the day on 1 apparently I have done something to stop that on thursday because friday it picked up where it left off thursday. If I can get it to go back to the way it was starting with 1 that would work as that will probobly be the only occasion to use a usb drive on it anyhow.

Can someone help me out? I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
