Ive tried cpu-idle ad waterfall, niether work with durons/thunderbird. Probably because htey are older programs. But on my old processor it dropped th temp on the cpu like 10c (celeron 466)

Just curious.....

If you use Windows 2000/NT then you don't need software cooling programs anymore because they have HLT commands already built-in.

For me and my roommate's, Windows ME also has software cooling, but some people are reporting that it does not...

WinME does have software cooling.
When I was running windows 98, I got something like 45 degrees celsius, and then went dwon to about 35 after I loaded Rain.

When I upgraded to WinME, I got 35C, and rain has no effect whatsoever.
