Is there a USB to pcmcia adapter?

I bought a linksys G-speedbooster pc card for my old laptop. Got a new laptop that has built in wireless so it has just been sitting around. Was thinking of moving my server (currently wired) to another location and was considering the wireless options available. I do have an SMC wireless pci card that I could use but it's only "b" not "g". Would that really make a huge difference when transferring large files?
I could also just go buy either a usb wireless G w/speedbooster or a PCI card with speedbooster but if someone makes something to where I could attach the pcmcia card to my desktop pc and it wasn't alot of $$$ then that would be better.

Any chance this exists?

There use to be PCI adapters that a PCMCIA can be plug into (there might be still some around).

However if it is not Linksys it might be not compatible, and it probably would cost like a new PCI card.

I know the feelings it is hard to give up pieces of plastic and silicone that are not useful anymore.😉
