Is there a univeral/All-in-one media play or codec?

hi .. inspired by my last post .. I am just wondering if there are any "all-in-one" codec .. or media player ?

in that case.. then we dont'have to worry about download codec and use differeent view for different file..

is there one ?

there isn't such thing as a 'all in one' codec.......

but there is a codec pack called Nimo codec pack... which includes almost all the codec u need in ur life.....
