Is there a trick in opening these DELL computers?

I've got an Optiplex 115 right here and I can't open the case! I try to push in the button on the lower left side (facing the front of the computer) and it's almost like it's not being pushed in far enough, but I'm pushing with ALL my strength. Is there a special trick I need to use?

You should just have to push that button on the lower left front, then pull the face of the case off (left side first), then pull the left SIDE off the case by lifting upwards (like the doors on a DeLorean [sp?]).

Unless I'm thinking of the wrong case. Dell Support has instructions for all the cases also.

Those thing can be a b*tch when they want to. At work (IT dept) me and two other guys spent 10 minutes or so fiddling with one of those cases trying to get it open. If I remember correctly there should just be a button on the bottom left that you press and the panel comes off. That's for the left panel. Right panel was what gave us trouble and I can't remember how to get that one off.

there may be a metal lock on the lower back you need to slide (away from you looking at the left side of the case). Then push the button and you're all set.

here's a solution, the dell case is one of the easiest pieces of crap to open that i've ever seen. short of a case hanging with no screws and can be pushed off...this thing has buttons all over and everything just pops right off. I'll let you find a friend and take "10 mins" to find the right buttons though...for the slow folk.
