Is there a steering wheel for the PC that is very realistic, like complete pedals with clutch then steering has pressure feedback like the steering wheel in car when running and like those in the arcade that has force feedback? I was thinking that almost all steering wheel out in the market is like soft and smooth as in very unrealistic, no pressure and usually brakes and accelerator are the pedals, what do you think is the best steering wheel out there for the PC? And ofcourse with a decent price.

And out of topic, what is the best driving simulator for the PC? Is it need for speed? I cant think of anything anymore aside for need for speed as almost driving games are in the console.

There aren't all that many decent ones out on the market, and out of those they aren't perfect either. I personally like the Logitech Momo force, but it doesn't do everything you are looking for

I have the ACT steering wheel package. Comes with a great steering wheel, pedals with a clutch pedal and a gated shifter 🙂
Its awesome for GT Legends, which I'm going to play now 😛.

The whole package is expensive though at $244.99

I bought it on ebay for $150

How large is the steering wheel? I found that the steering wheel on my friend's Logitech set was really small.

what i've got.

too bad Xbox cant use force feedback at all. 🙁

can you use it with the pc also?

check out the end of that review

doh, thanks for pointing it out. i couldn't locate anything on logitech's site and i skimmed the content of the review, skipping the part after the rating.

thanks

Yeah the ACT-LABS package has pretty much what you're looking for. I only have the Force RS, but it'd be damn cool to have the shifter and performance pedals!

Nice score on it for $150 on Ebay. My Force RS (wheel + pedals) alone was like $120 but that was new from them.

edit: And most new games have support for an analog clutch.. so you actually got to use it to shift gears (or risk fvcking up your tranny, depends the game) and to take off. Just for kicks I tried some games out with my brake pedal as clutch and the brake bound to a button instead. Still would be nice to have the full package with shifter.

Current games out that I like are TOCA3, Live for Speed, GTR, and Richard Burns Rally. NFS Porsche Unleashed is still a good game for how old it is, and theres some other good ones like GT Legends and NASCAR if you're into those.
