Is there a specific guide for OCing an IP35 PRO + e8400?

Are you running two instances of Orthos? Are you actually hard-locking (where you have to reset your PC manually)?

Yep to test i would run two instances of Orthos SP2004 BLEND (1 for each CPU)

The mouse freezes and the keyboard locks us and i hard rest with the case reset button.

I downloaded Orthos last week and just one instance would have two threads that would test both cores. Is this not the case with yours?

I guess it depends on how much you want to stress ?
With one instances i'm getting 100% in one core and 50% in another,

With two instances i'm getting 100% in both cores.

What is the standard people use to judge with?

It seems like my comp is more likely to freeze when i'm opening up cpuzs and speed fan. I'll keep trying and see if i can get a screen shot b4 it freezes again.

From you screen shot it looks as though you are running two instances on core 1. I also noticed that your memory is getting up there, what type of memory are you running?

Yes you are...but on the same core. One should be on cpu0 and the other on cpu1

yes running 2 on 1 core may be whats killing you yhowever 8 hours like that doesnt seem to bad, personally if you cant even run 1 at a mild OC like 3.6 for 12 hours i would start upping voltsgaes, it looks like you have the CPU at 1.35 with a large vdroop, a slight notch up here might work,

upping ram to 2.0-2.2 may help, i also had to up the voltage on my northbridge by .2 to get 100% stable at 9x440

On my IP35 Pro I can recreate a lockup at will by opening CPU-Z and uGuru. It may have been speedfan and CPU-Z...don't remember. This really isn't an OC problem, it's just one of the quirks of this MB. I do love the MB though, except for the poor E8400 support.
