Is there a spec required (besides cas 2) that makes RAM Athlon okay?

I see a lot of "Athlon tested" RAM around. Besides actually putting it in computer and seeing if it works is there a way to tell from the specs?

I assume that any CAS 2 rated RAM would be ok.

usually hgher quality ram will always work. And the newest boards on the via chipsets area lot less picky about the ram

It doesn't have to be CAS2. I'm not even sure that the KT133 is even finiky about ram at all. The 'athlon tested' thing came about with AMD's Irongate chipset...

Just don't buy crap and I'm sure you'll be fine.

i'm using 128 mb pc133 mushkin ram. ($150 for 128 mb 3 months ago, $80 now...) I want to buy a 6191, which has the irongate chipset. Is my ram possibly going to have issues with the irongate?

POS syncmax aka accessmicro 100 for 256mbpc133 works fine with the kt133 boards if you don't mind conservative timings
