there's a stupid person in my class that keeps talking about shakespeare and the renaissance and i just wanna do some crazy shakespearean talk right in front of his face to shut him up.. its annoying to everyone else too. :frown:
 
Well I'd be happy to help you out and just translate for you...except that I LOVE Shakespeare, and all things medieval or renaissance so I'd end up taking his side and insulting you without your knowing it. 😎

 
Shakespear - Middle English (Elizabethian era) < -- really not all that different from modern English except for a few differences in style and structure

Medieval - Old English/Celtic/Gaelic/Norse/Latin (IIRC) < -- really a lot different from modern English and very different from Middle English even
