Is there a site that can tell me how much will I make in my new job after taxes if I knew how much the new job pays ?

Of course it will vary depending on withholdings/benefits/etc etc.

Just multiply your gross salary by 0.7, you will get a good approximate.

thanks for that site, i just found out im claiming the wrong # of allowances and not paying nyc tax, but i guess i'll leave it alone since im gonna end up with a refund anyway after all my deductions, better i have the money now than the feds holding on to it

dont forget to factor in the extra 17.5% tax your employer has to pay for the right to higher an american worker

or the extra 7.5% he has to pay in social security/medicare

or the 40% tax he has to pay on any profit he makes by hiring an american
