Is there a Sequence in installing drivers?

Does it matter which sequence you install the following drivers and software?

1. DirectX 9
2. Radeon Catalyst Drivers
3. Radeon Control Panel Drivers
4. Windows Service Pack 1
5. nForce2 drivers

Based on what I've been reading, 1-3 is the correct order for the video drivers. Also, before installing the video driver, delete any old driver first and turn off all running tasks except Explorer and Systray. I don't know about 4 & 5.

I might be wrong, but it makes more sense to me to do it 4, 5, 1, 2, 3.

I agree. I've also done that order, except the DX9 was my last one to install. Haven't had any problems yet.

I agree, always update windows then update drivers.
