Is there a reason the "Freeware replacement for warez'd programs" in Software isn't stickied?

Maybe I'm just biased because of my repeated contributiont to the thread, but I don't think anyone disagrees that this thread is immensely useful.

I mean it's obvious that piracy is a huge problem, and that thread lists ways of using legitimate software to replace software that people seem to pirate out of force of habit. I mean, a free computer games thread is stickied, why not this? This is much more important than computer games, at least to 95% of AT
 
Stickies ewar out over a 3/6 month period.

As fisher stated, a new applicaiton of glue is required.
