is there a real diff betw 16mb and 32mb in a dual vid card mainly for 2d?

i'm thinking between

MATROX MILLENNIUM G450 DUAL 16MB DDR AGP 2X/4X DDR MEMORY (Bulk)

and this

MATROX MILLENNIUM G450 DUAL 32MB AGP 2X/4X DDR MEMORY (Bulk)

the second cost 50 percent more and i'm trying to keep costs down

another option that i'm thing about is the radeon ve with 32mb but i don't like how one of the heads is off the card

I hear that the g450's are really streatched for memroy bandwidth when in dual-head mode (even when just doing 2D). If you plan on running any significant resolutions on those two monitors (like 1600x1200) I would go for the 32mb version
