Is there a PS2 game comparable to Einhander?

This is a PS1 game and it was the rarest and hardest game to find in town. I remembered picking it up at Toys R Us last year and actually paid $60 for it.

Playing it right now and it's a blast. The whole 3D dimension and the whole slew of weaponry. All out action.

Anybody played this game before?

Me and a very old friend were just talking about this game today. We always played the demo on Playstation but neither of us were able to find the actual game. If you mean "Einheinder", anyway.

That game was awesome! Best 2D side-scroller ever!

This is extremely bizzare, my friend Alex and I haven't seen each other in 5 years, and he shows up today and we hang out, somehow we start talking about this game that we used to play. At first we couldn't think of the name, but we got it eventually. We both miss Einheinder 🙁

Edit: Nevermind, it IS Einhander, Alex and I were both wrong on the spelling. Same game though.

yea I rented it, I got mid way thru it and had to return it. It was a pretty good game by square. kinda tough learning curve though.

Yeah, bought it a long time ago, still have it. Fun game but really freaking hard. Downloaded a save from dexchange with all the ships unlocked 😀 that makes it a heck of a lot easier
