Is there a proper term for fillnig up a paper with excessively long quotes to reach the requierd length?

AFAIK - the quoted sections do not count twards your final word count (or at least at my college it doesn't).

And we called it "BSing %1, Filling %1, Patching %1, Borrowing %1, Plagiarizing %1, Defragging %1, and adding pithy material to %1."

%1 could be, usually was, Paper, but could also be Essay, Thesis, Topical Study, Book Report, etc.

5 pages?!?! That should be easy them :D My final english paper for my high school AP english class turned out to be 20 pages long, although the requirement was only 7. :)

Haha funny story... last quarter an english teacher of mine gave out 8-10 page research papers, and one of the kids only wrote like 6 pages and skipped numbers. he had like 1,2,3,4,6,7,8.... i dunno if you can pull it off with a 5 page paper though
