I have bothered looking for another music player on OS X since i like iTunes. I have only just now moved all my music back over to my laptop from my desktop, but usually it is all on my laptop in the music directory.

Do you guys even bother other programs for music on mac? Also does everyone always copy thier music into the itune music directory?
You can move it to a NAS or External Hard Drive if you want.
iTunes is nice because it works with the iPhone and iPods, plus the iLife software, plus pretty much any Mac software that supports drag-and-drop audio.
I prefer iTunes over any other music player, Mac or Windows. I know some people like Winamp and RealPlayer or even Windows Media Player on the Windows side, and I have used all of them as my primary music player at one time or another, and iTunes is 1 or 2 steps above them, imho.
Well, Winamp and iTunes have two completely different philosophies, IMO. iTunes is a library based player and so you are not expected to actually fiddle with your files. Winamp on the other hand is a file based player and you are expected to keep all of your music organized in your own way. iTunes and Windows Media Player both are library based and will keep things sorted for you. And that I what I have come to prefer as my library has grown quite a bit larger than its previous 300-400 songs.
Highlight all the tracks in the album. Right-click on them, select Get Info. Open the image file in Preview. Drag the image from Preview to the Artwork Box in the Get Info window. Click OK.
