Is there a program to save web forms before submitting or browsing away? Possibly also check for spelling?

I'm sick and tired of using CTRL + A - CTRL + C before every post, even though it's saved my ass numerous times, I've accidentally lost clip board contents and it's proven unreliable in other ways. Sometimes I thought it was in the clip board yet for some reason it wasn't. I actually usually use CTRL + A, CTRL + X, CTRL + V (Or SHIFT + INSERT). Recently, I've had another problem that has been repeatedly happening. I type a topic of some body text then attempt to backspace for a correction and find myself going "back" as if clicking the back button. This is EXTREMELY annoying, as I am always carefull to not bump the touchpad and use keyboard shortcuts to skip around and modify text. I ALWAYS use ALT + LEFT to go back, and don't care for the "backspace as a browser back button" functionality at all. I am always unprepared for this and more often than not I've already backspaced through something which made the forms reset when I go back forward.

When submitting a post or email, or even just browsing away from the page, I'd like a program that intercepts and gives me a pop-up dialog asking me to save, cancel, spell-check or copy to clip-board (All fields; including the from & to or title fields in addition to the text body) before the action goes through.

Is it possible for a plugin/program to detect a form submission and halt to provide these options before allowing the submission to be made? Is it possible for one to do the same with a page transition? Does such a program already exist? I Googled to no end already...

It seems much more elegant than the CTRL + A - CTRL + C (Keyboard shortcuts) + IESPELL (Free utility) option.
