depends on the game... generally speaking 30fps is beleived to be the min.

You have to decide that for yourself. Everyone has a different opinion on it, and it varies between games.

the sorta approximate accepted minimum for a smooth FPS is 30 [as a absolute bottom] whereas slower RPGs are often tolerated in the low-20s. However, there is a wide range of what it "tolerable" ... "FPS whores" will rarely tolerate anything below 60 FPS as the minimum ... while "Graphics whores" will tolerate upper 20s

I love it!...it's so true!

I like to average at least 50fps in games but that doesn't always happen. Maybe that only makes me an "FPS slut".

I played Crysis w/ an avg of 25fps I think (I wanted it to look as good as possible). It sucked a little, wasnt as fluid as im use to (as you can imagine) but I made an exception for that game. So 30 as an absolute min makes sense to myself.

An average of 50 usually means minimums somewhere in the 20s. You're in fact a graphics whore.

singleplayer 30 is fine. multiplayer AT LEAST 60 never dropping below is a MUST. my preferences.
