Is there a program that'll shut off ur soundcards Optical out for 1sec?

just make a blank wav file with sound recorder in accessories and save it. Then insert this file to your playlist in between songs in winamp to record. This is what I do to record my mp3s.

theres a winamp plug-in in the plug-in section of winamp.com
I don't know if it shuts off all audio, but creates a 2 second (customizable) gap between songs

Yup... that winamp plug in.. it kicks butt. If you want I'll email it to you or whatever. Just let me know, it's a 40kb file. gen_pause.exe

no no I'm saying like something that'll cut of the signal so we can get a break in the light instead of the 2second pause.

because I record alot of trance and techno stuff and alot of times theres over 2second pauses in a song, and the only ways around it are either

manually cut the tracks
let it start another track at the pause and combine them later
burn it on a cd and play it on a player with optical out!

All those wyas require too much work for me so I was wondering if there was a way around it 🙂
