Is there a program that will run a speed test on your USB ports?

I asked the question here before and I never really got a definitive answer. The manufacturer says "yes, it is USB 2.0" but there is *no* way I'm getting the speed out of it. Is there any software that will run a test of the port... a benchmarking application perhaps?

I need this ASAP.

what is your motherboard? I am sure we could quite easily tell you with some simple specs.

USB 2.0 is honestly 20x faster than 1.1, so if you are not running at speeds faster than a 100mbit network, then you defintiely are running on 1.1.

but give some specs and we can say for sure.

Thanks for the reply. The computer is a laptop, an HP 5607wm running 512mb ram, 2.6ghz, XP Pro sp2
