Is there a program that converts a batch of one type of pictures files (e.g. tiff) into another type of file (e.g. jpg)? Or maybe there's a quick way to do it in Photoshop that I don't know of?

Thanks

Um.. open the pic in photoshop.
Click file.
Click save as.
click your format from the pulldown menu.
click ok.

Simple enough? ;)

I think he's looking for something that'll do it to multiple files at once. There should be some at hotfiles.com, but I don't know of any off the top of my head, sorry.

I'm not trying to be picky but is there another SMALLER program out there that can do the same thing? I'm on dial-up and a ~30MB download for this simple task sounds a bit too excessive.:)

ACDSee from ACDSystems will do it. It's sweet for everything that has to do with images, except being able to manipulate them as well as Photoshop lets you... See if the free trial makes you happy.
