Is there a program that can tell me the properties of a video clip

Like, the bit rate, codec used even if I don't have the codec installed, if it's mpeg which one Ligos or Cinemaster. what the sound codec and bitrate is. Is there such a beast.

Windows Media Player will tell you most of that.

not really, if you don't have the codec it won't know anything. it won't tell you wich mpeg codec or the accurate mbit rate. WMP really sux at doing this.
