Is there a practical read/write limitation on USB pocket-harddisk thingies?

I have a 32 megger I got as a gift and it's pretty darn neat. Anyway, I seem to recall reading somewhere that these were limited to like 100 reads or writes, but flash memory is unlimited in most other areas. Did I dream this?

So, if I have a 32 meg card and I fill it 1 meg, and then delete it 1 meg, you're saying I can do that 32 X 100,000 times, since it sequentially fills the card?

EDIT: Yeah that link seems to say that. Thanks!
