is there a pocketpc 2002 emulator for windows?

right now I'm downloading a lot of freeware and trying it on my pocketpc. but a lot of it is badly written and leaves tons of crap all over my pda, so I've been having to hard-reset it every so often and start fresh. I though of a much easier way to test out new software: use a "virtual" pocketpc on my comp so that if I need to hard reset it, I won't loose all the settings and data I've entered, and I assume it would be a lot quicker than loading software via the usb connection. does such an emulator exist?

If you go to Palm's site, their developer's area has exactly that to allow you to test the software you write. I would assume Microsoft offers something similar on their site.

I'm pretty sure there's one for the Ipaq, I'll check when I get home. By the way, what software have you downloaded so far that you really like? I just got mine and I've been loading it up. So far, Simcity 2000 or Monopoly are about my favorite. 😀
