you want to query an HP printer for total page count?
i think it is on the web page, hit the ip/name for the printer in your browser

are you talking under device list?

I'm not seeing it... It tells me all the settings for the printer, toner level, etc etc... but no page counts. I have like 20 printers I need this information for... and going to each one and resetting it won't work...

I'm using firmware R.25.15 and it's listed under the Information tab, then Configuration menu.

Page Count 75875
Preventive Maintenance Interval: 200000
Pages Since Last Maintenance: 75842

we talking about the same thing here? I'm using web jetadmin... basically I can list the device, then double click on it and it shows settings and whatnot... but not pages printed... this is with the particular printer at R.25.15...

ok got it. web jetdirect is the least intuitive thing I've ever seen.

"Print test page" from the printer - this usually tells you how many pages the printer printed (worked at least on older laserjet printers)
Oh, you mean pages printed thru the jetdirect interface...

no, we said "use your browser" as in "don't use that crappy web jetadmin"
just open up IE and put in the printers name/IP and hit the embedded web server of the jetdirect card
