Is there a place a headphone jumper can be connected on Epox 8RDA+??

My case supports a headphone output in the front and I have the 8RDA+. I was wondering where I would connect the L out or L ins and the R in or R out jumpers on the board? Which ones would I connect and to where? If I could get this to work, it would be great because my Z540s don't support headphones (which is pretty stupid. Damn you logitech!)

See page 28 of 88 in the manual. There you will find the position and function of the AUD2 connector which supports front panel functionality. However, I'm not sure if it supports headphones, or if it's only a line-out connector.

No. Line out is a signal output, like for amplified speakers or headphones that don't take much power. Line in would take a signal input.

Madtom I am also looking to solve this same problem. However if you have installed a sound card such as TBSC and disable onboard sound on the mobo (P4PE) would the front panel audio connecter on this or other mobo still function or is it disabled as per onboard sound???

Since you have the integrated sound disabled, its not processing the signal so it wouldn't send it to the header. The TBSC wouldn't look to see if there is a header on the board to send the signal through b/c it assumes that everything is attached to it.

wouldn't you use the connectors on your sound card to get the sound to the front audio jacks?

and the aud 2 connector does support the front audio out, i remember reading that when the front headphone jack is connected, the signal going out to the speaker in the back will be cut off.

Jombo. Do you mean connecters on a Santa Cruz card?. Where did you read that the Aud 2 connector will support front audio out?? On the santa cruz sound card I can't find the aud 2 internal connector. Could you explain where this is??
