whoa. didn't know he wanted more than Iron Man.As I recall, the black dude from the first movie wanted too much money, more even than Robert Downey Jr.
I liked Iron Man 2. I loved Iron Man 1.
My problem is I like Howard and Cheadle. I give a slight edge to Cheadle for Ocean's 11. I'm indifferent on it.
Acting tour de force (right phrase for this?), yes Hotel Rwanda.yeah, good call. I dislike Howard for Iron Man 1, and dislike Cheadle for Traitor--their two biggest "phone-it-in" performances that I have seen.
either way, they got paid, so fuck it. It's a push
...and you should like Cheadle more for Boogie Nights and Hotel Rwanda.
:hmm:
Gyllanhall rocks.
all 'o youse are gay people.
What are you referring to?
The part that he mentions about him supposedly demanding more money is most likely what was referenced earlier. That's what I've always heard as well.During the press junket for "Hot Tub Time Machine," actor Crispin Glover opened up about the problems he encountered on the "Back to the Future" set that caused him not to return.
"On the DVD to the 'Back to the Future' trilogy, [co-writer, producer] Bob Gale has said something that's totally fabricated," said Glover. "He said I asked for twice the amount of money that Michael J. Fox asked for in the first film. In the negotiation for the second film, they offered me less than half of what any of the actors that were being asked to come back in the film — Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson. They had all done studio films, and they'd made a lot more money. I was being penalized."
Negotiations fell apart and Glover didn't return for the rest of the trilogy. As a result the studio hired Jeffrey Weissman and made him look like Glover in order to bring back George McFly. Glover sued and won a settlement, leading to a new set of rules for the Screen Actors Guild in regard to illicit use of actors.
Glover continued: "I just feel like I can be totally quiet about it and people [can] think that I've done this kind of wrong thing or I can tell the truth of what has happened. [Gale] did not address that what they did was totally immoral and illegal and just wrong. [They] put another actor into false nose, chin and cheekbones in order to fool people into believing that I was in the film."
Crispin Glover played George McFly in Back to the Future 1, but did not play him in 2 or 3. Here's an article from him (supposedly) about why he didn't return:

Although, I'd argue that Glover probably had the lowest amount of screen time in part 2 and 3... even compared to Lea Thompson, who mostly had supporting roles in the latter two parts.
This thread is awesome.
...probably because it has my favorite pontifex comment, ever.
Seriously comparing it to Caruso who is just a plain terrible actor (and would have probably been written off the show had he not left), well, lulz. Aside from Iron-Man which will likely get rebooted after the third one flops, the role was not going to take him anywhere.
What happened in BTTF 2 regarding actor swaps?LOL
Not quite as bad as Back to the Future 2 IMO.

Yeah, just noticed, Sorry. Thanks!its all explained a few posts up...
She's not THAT bad, she's ok sometimes. In The Dark Knight she was butt ugly though.

Good idea, but probably too expensive.
