I want to get a new motherboard combo but I would like to spend as little as possible so I thought I would use my existing ram from my P3 combo. Do they make such a beast or am I going to have to get new ram as well!

Newegg doesn't appear to have any. They have one listed but it appears that its listed incorrectly.

I'd highly advise upgrading ram for performance reasons. PC133 seems to be holding its value decently right now so you could sell it and not have to pay that much more.

P4 mobos use only RDRAM (Rambus) or DDR. There are such mobos for Athlon (e.g. MSI KT2 Combo, ECS K7S5A Pro, etc.). Oh, and when you're talking low-cost solutions, how does P4 t even enter the equation?
.bh.

most people have stopped selling them due to thier extremely poor performance, a 1.2 P3 with pc133 will blow away a 2Ghz p4 with pc133. If you're looking for best bang for less bank, I'd suggest getting an amd combo. there are several amd boards that accept both pc133 and ddr, and the performance penalty is no where near as great as the p4's.
