Is there a NYC-equivalent website of Boston.com?

Boston.com rocks. Their local news, weather, events, all in one page. It seems there isn't one for NYC.

The ones I came across are tourist crap (newyorkcity.com).

Boston.com is owned and operated by Boston Globe (newspaper). And BC is owned by NYT. But if I go to New York Times website, it's predictably nation-wide stuff...

Well, it at least tries to do what Boston.com does. BTW I use boston.com often. Was just there to find out that all cars are banned from driving starting at 4pm anywhere in Mass. Year in jail/500 dollar fine.

NY1 has a production quality of a low level elementary school cinema dept. :biggrin:

Boston.com is awesome. NY1, on the other hand, is terrible. This is one of those very rare cases where Boston > NY.
