basically, is there a program for nvidia cards that'll link to game's exe files so when you load the game it will load the settings you want including overclocked settings? with my old radeon, i usually run the card underclocked, and have it overclocked only in games, i wonder if i can do the same with my geforce.

run A:atiflash -f -p 0 filename, the -f will force the bios flash

BUT, make sure the bios is compatible with your card first, once you reboot its to late

run A:atiflash -s 0 backup.rom first to save your old bios

IIRC, Coolbits allows for seperate 2D and 3D clocks and doesn't forceware have game profiles?

Yeah you can set specific .exe profiles with ForceWare. Then with Coolbits you can set 2D clock and 3D clock (same clock for all 3D apps).

PowerStrip can do more per-application stuff as well, including overclocking I'm fairly sure.

alright, i understand the forceware thing. now am i doing something wrong...my 2d clocks and 3d clocks seems to only accept one memory speed. like i can set my 2d core clocks and 3d core clocks different and it's fine. but for memory, when i change one, it seems the other is also changed for some reason. also, is there a reason why i cannot overclock with rivatuner or coolbits at all when i unlock the pipes of my 6800? (i can't even underclock for that matter). i can do it with the utility gigabyte included and it works fine, no artifact at all. it seems what i have to do now to overclock with rivatuner/coolbits now is lock the pipes, raise the clocks, and then reset and unlock the pipes. is there a better method for this?
