Is there a noticeable performance difference between 8x vs 4x AGP?

Like the title says... on 9700Pro cards. I tried doing a search, but didn't turn anything up.

No. There are so many other bandwith limitations in todays graphics cards that 8x over 4x is little improvement.

Even on Granite Bay boards, negligable.
Programs and Games are not taking advantage of 8X yet, either.
There is some decent improvement in benchmarks for a 2.53
@ 182fsb with DCDDR = 3Dmark2001 @ 18099

Ah ok, i ask because i use 1920x1200 resolution for games, so i thought maybe it might. Good to hear it doesn't then, saves me from needing to upgrade my mainboard.
