So I get a pre-approved letter for AMEX Gold Rewards card and they are gonna waive the first year $90 fee and they say there's one reserved for me, but I'm a full time college student and they want an income. I only make about 10k from part-time work so that's what I wrote. Am I gonna get rejected?

Spit on the letter and mail it back. Write a follow up letter to the spit letter telling them that you are horribly offended that they would dare ask your income.

Tell them you MIGHT consider doing business with them if they invite you for the Centurion card....NOTHING LESS WILL DO!!

They wont respect you unless you show them up front that you wont take their crap.

Why do you want a no-limit AMEX anyway? You plan on putting more than a couple grand on your credit card each month? :p

Blue is a great card, and you'll easily qualify for it.

its technically not limitless. the limit is based a little higher than your previous month's spending. it's kinda like continuous credit increases as your spending increases.

also, the amex gold is NOT a credit card. it's a charge card so you pay the balance in full every month. as a student, just stick the credit cards because i bet your income isnt steady and if you can't pay the balance, you can carry it over a few months if you pay at least the minimum. with charge cards, if you don't pay in full, you get like a $30 minimum charge or a percentage of the balance, whichever is higher.
