Is there a microwave popcorn that pops all of the kernels?

olive oil has a pretty low smoke point, better to use something with a high smoke point. the only reason you need oil it to help transfer heat into the kernals.

Agreed, but the 3 minutes or so it takes is usually not long enough to cause an issue by bursting into flame/burn/smoke. Plus of the various oils to use, I prefer the taste of olive oil. And its purported health benefits. Coconut oil is also VERY tasty.

Those are absolutely the best popcorn makers. I need to get one again. I had one in college. You just need to remember to clean the darn thing as soon as possible. If you leave it on too long or don't clean up right away then it gets to be hard to clean.

Also olive oil is ok to use to pop corn. I have done and it works fine.
