is there a MB with intel 845 chipset that offers pci/agp locks?

the epox 4BDA does as well ....plus it has better features than both the asus and abit boards. Like a 3:4 mem ratio above 133FSB and no cold boot problem

Cold boot problem? Can you explain?

Its funny that some of the others have cold boot problems, but the MSI has warm boot problems...puzzling to say the least!

So all of the manufacturers that make performance boards based on the I845 chipset have different dividers implemented EXCEPT FRIGGIN MSI Now tell me, WHY IN THE HELL DID I BUY AN MSI BOARD?

Im able to run stabe at 166fsb on this board, but my pci and agp are running rich need to lean 'em out some

166FSB?? Wholy sh!t man, that's awesome! I have the PCI lock(asus p4b266), but I still can't get that high. 156FSB is max for me to be stable, that's with the PCI/AGP locked at 36/72. Very nice O/C man😀

NATE420-- Show me where you saw that the Asus P4B266 locks the bus at 36/72. I have seen it quoted many times, but they are all heresay--nothing from Asus. Turbo1 and 2 remain a mystery. R

RickH...

I don't remember where exactly I read it, but it was not from Asus. I believe it was on another forum, the poster claimed to have one of those PCI cards that will read back the bus speed.(PC Guiger) I'm simply taking that and running with it, as it's the only info I've found anywhere as to what the Turbo settings really do. Perhaps I should have stated this before, as I don't mean to mislead anyone, but this does seem to be the common consensus as to what the Turbo settings do.

I have emailed Asus Tech Support asking for info on this matter, but have never recieved a reply.
