Hi guys, I am having difficulties looking for a KVM for monitor only that can support 4k/120 hz. or even 4k/60 hz. that is manufactured by a reputable brand. I am not familiar with brands that are available for sale in Amazon, are you able to provide me some tips on what brand to get? Preferably I would like to have a switch that is for monitor only, I will not be needing any USB ports.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Hi
If you don't need mouse or keyboard, why not just connect each PC directly to the screen(s) using different inputs on the screen(s) and switch using the builtin switching ability on the screen(s)?

Thank you for the reply. That was supposed to be my primary way of switching between two workstations, however, my monitor does not have a good interface, I have to press several buttons and before I am able to switch to the other workstation I need to go through seven menu items, and this is made worse by the slow switching of the monitor.

I've had good luck with TESmart KVM switches. They also make HDMI switches which is probably what you need. Though I use a KVM to switch my secondary monitor between work and home as there is no PC connected to it, and it seems to work fine.

I would recommend ConnectPro. It's a pricey solution, but they make great KVM switches. I would love to get this myself. I hate going through my Dell ultrawide's OSD to change the input. But the built in KVM doesn't cost anything extra. I have an old ConnectPro that is in excellent shape, but it doesn't support the higher ultrawide resolutions of today's monitors.

If it's just for one single monitor and you only need to change the display output.....why not just use the built in one? 4K/120 kvm's are expensive and in my experience they are glitchy.
