Depending on what mobo (what mobo?) you are are getting the only difference will be the initial boot up screen and RAID configuration. With mine I hit CNTRL_F to enter the utility and then create the RAID array. This should happen automatically if you have two drives plugged into the ports with RAID capability. Once in the utility you can manually configure the array for RAID 0 (striping) or possibly mirroring or both (depending on how many drives you connect); or it should have an option for auto config for performance (RAID 0). I simply selected auto and it configured the drives. After that, reboot to a floppy or installation disk and f-disk to create partitions, then format each and install. That aspect is the same.
Remember to enable boot to RAID array in your bios after you have the disks formatted.. If you are going to boot off of it, that is. I usually only have boot to floppy or cd-rom initially in the bios, then change it to RAID once the OS is loaded. I created 2 partitons for w2k, but it only lets you format the installation partition when loading off the cd-rom. Maybe I am missing something? Anyway, I chose fat32 and later booted to floppy with win98 on it and formatted the other partition. I probably could have used the command line in w2k and formatted the 2nd partiton, but I wanted it visible to w2k during installation.
Enjoy...
